Excellent in it's price range. Low-acidity. Smooth finish.
last night i drank half bottle with loin lamb chops in garlic and rosemary and found that i somehow got an uncomfortable head aching and attributed it to the wine. now finishing my glass from tonight's dinner with gnocchi piedmontese and see that it is smooth but lacks complexity and character and in the end is a little fruity. it probably needs more years???? i'm far from an expert. ps: bottle does not have the word chateau on label, only Bois de Lamothe, Cotes de Duras, appellation CdD controlee, 2009
Food Pairings for Chateau Bois de Lamothe Cotes de Duras

A uniquely earthy wine with aromas of green vegetables, particularly asparagus, and red berries. The asparagus echoes on the palate and combines with cranberries and herbs to produce an overall tart flavor with good acidity. An interesting, balanced, and structured wine that is just unique enough to have to try.
