Food Pairings for Château Biré Bordeaux Supérieur
This bordeaux is chock full of smoky dark fruits and has a warm meaty finish in your mouth. However, it is slightly astringent and probably could've used a little more time in the bottle. But hey, I was impatient. (No surprise there!)
The best Bordeaux for under 20 bucks that I've ever had. I've had three bottles. One was bad, tasteless. However, I had a slight cold that week. The other two were very good. Extremely bright, very bold tannins with a strong current of cherry. THis is not a complex wine. Nor does it have much depth. It goes straight from palate to finish. The least shy wine I've had However, it is delicious. I'm not a heavy drinker, but I drank over half a bottle by myself while watching a movie one Monday night without really knowing that i'd had three glasses. I drank it because it was so tasty. This wine is a well-built peppy cute modern dance major who did okay on her SAT. It's not really an Angelina Jolie or Sharon Stone character.
