Its 18th century underground cellar is one of the oldest in Medoc and presents the perfect maturing conditions for a wine that is vinified with the same care and technique as a Grand Cru Classé. Beau-Site’s wine is full of power and temperament, a typical Saint-Estèphe with enough ripe tannins to allow stocking for many years. Chateau Beau-Site has been awarded many prizes and medals in its long history. Chateau Beau-Site has a second wine called: Chateau Haut Vignoble Seguin.
Founded in 1870.this family company owns a number of prestigious Bordeaux properties inmcluding Chateau Batailly in Pauillac and Chateau Trotte Vieille in Saint Emilion. They have recently bought property in the Loire valley. However,they are also one of the Bordeaux region's largest negociant houses with an anual turnover of over 140 million euros. Chateau Beau-Site 2008 is a very classic vintage of the chateau and a racy Saint-Estèphe with blackcurrant aromas of the Cabernet Sauvignon, cedar, cherry and blackberry, graphite, coffee, chocolate. It is deep red, elegant on the palate, with a good freshness and an aromatic complexity, masculine with fruity tones and a long finish.
