Chateau Beau-Sejour Becot Saint Emilion Bordeaux France 2000
The first enjoyment is visual. Château Beau-Séjour Bécot with its liquid ruby colour catches the light and shimmers. It swirls in the glass, its sumptous robe folds and unfolds sensually. Next, the first aromas reach us. A very expressive nose. Intense and complex. Aromas of soft, red fruit and wood, with a touch of vanilla and delicate hints of spice. On the palate, Château Beau-Séjour Bécot is silky, racy with soft tannins. Velvet-like, it caresses the palate revealing extreme elegance and real feminine finesse. A moment of voluptuousness in which each layer is unveiled the one after the other and savoured slowly. Then, gently, just as the last rays of the sun are the most beautiful, Château Beau-Séjour Bécot finishes, showing all its subtlety.
Michel Bécot retired in 1985, turning over the management of the Château to his two sons Gérard and Dominic, Julitette meet them in 2001.
