Ginger accents on the nose with rich, crystallized black fruits topped by notes of ginseng, white floral tones, and some hard, raw wood edges – soft in the mouth, modestly scaled, ripe tannins, lively feel, nice plum skin fruit, modest tannins, well proportioned, juicy fruit with a touch of meaty spice, hint of black pepper (89-90)
