Château Barrail Chevrol Fronsac 2005
This wine boasts an intense, deep color. The bouquet is most expressive with hints of ripe red fruit. Delightful on the palate with lots of body and nice cong-lasting finish A modern wine combining good aromatic expression and dynamic structure to offer excellent volume and roundness. Serving Suggestions: Perfect with stews, roast poultry, duck comfit or beef rib steak.
Solid Bordeaux for 11.99. Primarily Merlot, very approachable now, notes of cherry, little wood, nice acidity and soft tannins. Can be had on its own. Will buy again.
External Reviews for Château Barrail Chevrol Fronsac
Fronsac is a small appellation in Bordeaux located just west of the town of Libourne. This tasty blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Malbec represents a lighter side of Fronsac, leaning more in the direction of red cherries. Approachable on its own, but ideal with food.
