Château Bahans Haut-Brion Red Bordeaux Blend Pessac-Léognan 2006
Made from almost equal parts Merlot (34%), Cabernet Sauvignon (34%) andCabernet Franc (30%) this rich, stylish Second wine of Haut Brion hasconsiderably more Cabernet than in 2005 and as a result boasts more structureand finesse than usual. It is generous and seductive with sweet, veryconcentrated blackberry and raspberry fruit and earthy minerality, supported bysubstantial but very well-integrated tannins. This is a lively, masculine winebursting with energy and a restrained sexiness. Very impressive indeed.

In a more vibrant and quite different style, but this gained in sweetness with aerati... Stephen Tanzers IWC. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2006 Bahans-Haut-Brion 750ml
