Difficult nose, slight cherry. Tannic, but not hot. Not sure if it just needs more time in the bottle. Very tart cherries.
This gets better every six months.
I found this Cru Bordeaux at Costco in Phoenix for $8.62 back in 2006. I tried it with no expectations and I couldn't believe how good it was. I was so impressed with how good it was I got online to research it and it opened up and explained the entire list of Cru Classified Wines to me. Find them and try them. I drove back to LA with 2 cases and every year since I look for it.
does not long lasting
Nice 2000 Bordeaux...very pretty nose, with strawberry, lead pencil and a light floral component. Flavors of sweet strawberries, bitter chocolate, and some green pepper all come together nicely. Very soft, with a surprising touch of alcohol heat on the finish.
Two and a half glasses
