Very light oak on the nose. Slight buttered toast along with tropical fruit and lychee. On the palate, it's crisp and lithe with mineral, stony flavors. Not much complexity. It has a nutty, lychee aftertaste with some light butter. 3/8/12

White stone fruits, flowers and minerals are some of the notes that flow from this tight, focused Chassagne. The Abbaye bottling is all about fruit and structure while Clos de la Chapelle is decidedly focused and wiry...92" WA 9/11 "High-pitched aromas of lemon, vineyard peach and flowers.
