Chassagne Montrachet Chenevottes Chateau de la Maltroye 90-92vm 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

92 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Mild hints of wood and reduction do not completely mask the cool citrus aromas. It is instantly clear that the mouth feel of the medium weight flavors is much finer, indeed it is silky yet powerful, all wrapped in an admirably complex and highly persistent finale. Good stuff." 06/16 90-92 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous: "Pale yellow-green. Musky, reduced aromas and flavors of lime, menthol and stone. Plush, rich and dry, with nicely integrated acidity giving shape to the wine's tactile middle palate. Finishes sappy and long. These vines are between 50 and 60 years of age." 09/15
