Opulent nose of strawberries and blueberries. On the palate delicate aromas of raspberries and more strawberries. Silky almost velvety structure with a great depth. A powerful but elegant wine that gives its full potential on the mid palate and finish. Fantastic expression of the Pinot Noir grape with no sour flavours and a lingering ending. 2005 seems to start to open up very nicely now and should give a lot of drinking pleasure over the next decade! One of my nicest Pinot's I had in a while. Well done! QC

This too is very grapey though with slightly better elegance to the earth-infused, expressive and generous dark berry fruit aromas and flavors that are nicely concentrated and underpinned by round and soft tannins. This is easy to like as it has a bit more finishing complexity and length.
