Charles Vienot Pouilly-Fuissé 2009

External Review by Prestige Wine & Spirits:

Delectable white Burgundy, brimming with beautiful starfruit, pear and red apple fruit notes. Smooth, feathery mouthfeel, but with a brightness that is hallmark of the world's best Chardonnays. The oak and fruit are balanced perfectly, resulting in a first-rate dinner white - pair with fish in butter cream sauce, veal or quiche.

All Chardonnay and all good! Fresh and clean. Vibrant and alive with notes of minerals and melons followed by apples and pears. Ripe and supple ending in a fresh and silky finish gently touched with vanilla and oak. Medium bodied. A treat with whole Maine lobsters king crab legs baked ham and poultry dishes.

Bright tropical fruit notes explode on the nose, but the palate is subtle and elegant, guided by a smooth mouthfeel and gentle oak.
