Winemaker's Notes:

40% Chardonnay 30% Pinot Noir 30% Pinot Meunier, with 16% Bouzy red wine Winery Notes A bright and crystal clear, deep salmon pink with light and fleeting coppery highlights. An ample bubble chain, unbroken and long lasting. Fresh, very pure and really elegant, the nose brings out clean, delicate and engaging fragrances of freshly picked red fruits (wild strawberries, raspberries and blackberries). A full, tasty and smooth impact. The mouth reflects great continuity with the fruits unveiled by the nose, developing towards smooth and warm flavors (red fruit coulis, raspberry jelly). A clean and long finish enhanced by a floral touch of dried rose petals. A charming aperitif, Charles Lafitte Brut Rose Champagne is perfect with a Brittany blue lobster confident or a mosaic of tender young rabbit stuffed with duck foie gras and sweetbreads. An ideal match for a red fruit hot/cold dessert with gingerbread or a crisp "mille-feuille" with milk chocolate.
