This Sauvignon Blanc is the result of meticulous and passionate vineyard farming and winemaking. Charles Krug has done everything possible to preserve the freshness and delicate aromatics found in the very best Sauvignon Blancs, from picking fruit at night to cold fermentations and minimal handling. This wine's inviting and complex bouquet blends notes of peach, green apple, melon, banana, guava and grapefruit. Its silky texture, crisp acidity and long finish make it a delicious wine by itself or paired with your favorite cuisine.

I think I've become addicted to New Zealand SBs. After getting used to their herbaceousness, fruity delights, crispness, and long finishes, I was a little disappointed in this wine.

It was good, don't get me wrong - nice tropical fruit flavors, and a medium finish, but I just couldn't bump it up to 4 stars, especially at the price point. I think you can do better for SBs.

Melon, tropical scents w/ citrus in the background; big, ripe fruit taste with a nice citrus finish. High fruit, but balanced with crisp, acidic finish. Tasty & refreshing.

light straw color, clear and inviting. beautiful nose of mango and stone fruit with flavors that range from melon and citrus to young peach. the finish stays in the citrus range with a little orange and lemon zest. i liked it a lot on it's own or with sea food appetizer.
