What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

87 pts and a Best Buy from Wine Enthusiast! - Spry and alert, with crisp apple aromas and some baking spice for good measure. Equally crisp on the palate, where lime, green apple and pepper run the show. Moderate but extended in terms of feel and finish; tasty and snappy overall. - Dec 05 Issue

Crisp, nice bubbles, nice acidity. One of the better value sparklers out there. [NR]

Superb value. Vintner studied in champagne region. This is not overly dry (a plus in my book), but not overly sweet, either. Balanced. Mild acid. Big, bold hits of apple and citrus. Chill and enjoy!

An everyday sparkling wine made from Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Ugni Blanc. Smoky, with lemon and apple fruit on the palate. Very approachable and a great aperitif wine to enjoy with hors d'oeuvres.

Very refreshing sparkling wine with aromas of apple and spice. Crisp, clean taste on the palate with green apple and lime with a very snappy finish. Very good sparkling wine for the price tag and a nice one to have in the hot summer heat.

Fruity on the nose with a fine, delicate mousse. This wine is too sweet for a brut in my opinion, it seems more like an extra dry to me. Acidity is nice, really gives the wine a nice edge. I wouldn't say this is the best sparkling wine I've ever had, but it does present an excellent value for the price.
