big full bodied, lush and jammy
Wonderful from start to finish. Just shy of a strong body with smooth fruit and smoke. My husband compared drinking it to tasting a perfect orange and remembering what was so special about them.
This one needed a lot of air to open up. Immediately out of the bottle is was hot and tight, fruitless. Two hours later it changed completely. Blackberries and beef plus a hint of earthiness in the nose. Blackberries, blueberries, vanilla, and a touch of yeasty pie crust. It's a little gritty, but probably my fault- I just bought it yesterday and was surprised to find how much sediment this one had. Don't drink it when you buy it- let it settle some first. Medium length finish, very long for the dollar.
