Chardonnay Salento 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

A light and fruity wine made of 100% Chardonnay grown in the Salento area, the south-eastern part of Italy that includes the territories of Apulia: Lecce, Brandish and Taranto. Plenty of tropical fruits, melons, and honey on the nose and the palate. Can be enjoyed with appetizers, grilled fish, or simply alone as a refreshing treat.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
