An elegantly crafted Chardonnay that marries vanillin oak with crisp, citrusy flavors. It's medium-bodied, with a slightly creamy texture akin to lemon custard yet stays refreshing through the finish. Drink now through 2010. - J.C. Concentrated, with very good intensity to generous toasty oak framing poached pear, bright lemon and peach tones. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 4,000 cases imported. -DS The 2006 Chardonnay was the earliest vintage on record with budburst 2-3 weeks earlier than usual. The nose is lacking a little personality at first but reluctantly reveals minerals, a slight chalkiness and a touch of mandarin that intensifies with a few swirls of the glass. The palate is viscous, buttery and quite honeyed towards the spice-tinged finish. It just lacks the tautness and the tension of top quality Chardonnay. ** SOLD OUT **

Cloudy Bay Chardonnay zeichnet sich durch seinen reichen, frischen Fruchtgeschmack von Melonen und Zitrusfrüchten sowie sein Aroma von Nüssen und einem Hauch Mineralien aus. Er besticht durch seine zartgelbe Farbe und seinen ausgewogenen und gut strukturierten Geschmack, welcher durch Lagerung noch verfeinert wird.
