Shows flavors of cherries, red currants, licorice, beef teriaki and sandalwood, wrapped into firm but finely etched tannins. Now-2012. - S.H. ** Only 7 in Stock **
Dark in color and concentrated in aromas, this Merlot is highlighted by black berry and cherry fruit as well as dark chocolate, roasted coffee and vanilla. Subtle herbal and spice notes add complexity to the fruit. The mouth is huge, lush and rounded by soft tannins. A sweet impression on the palate is given by the combination of ripe fruit and spicy oak. Black berry and cherry flavors persist long into the finish.
