Very aromatic with heather top notes over a base of lemon oil, butter, smoky grilled peaches, mango and hickory smoked aromas. Smooth, soft and opulent in the mouth, the low acidity here lends this a sweetness in the mouth that accentuates the ripe flavors of apple, pear and pineapple. Plenty of nutty and honey tones add complexity on the midpalate, with a touch of herbs and some waxiness popping on the moderately long, lemon citrusy finish which shows some heat. 89pts Acidity: Medium Low Perceived Sweetness: Low Oak: Medium Low Spicy Flavors: Low Savory Flavors: Medium Fruity Flavors: Medium Intensity of Flavor: Medium High Weight in Mouth: Medium High

This shows a lot of ripe apple, pear and green plum fruit on the nose but with an underlay of earth, steel, and gentle suggestions of green herb and vanilla bean. A bit sweet on the attack, this shows more wood on the palate than the aromatic suggest, and while the fruit is lovely, ripe and round succulent white orchard fruit with a peachy glow, with great richness, the alcohol seems to stick out a bit. Texturally this does a nice job of blending the creamy, oak rounded style with freshness, and the finish shows great length and vibrancy with wonderfully integrated spice tones, but I do get snagged on the alcohol again on the final. A minor failing. 90pts

Combines richness with density and a tight core of pear, melon, green apple and light cedary oak flavors. This is raw and young, so give it time. The finish is complex, layered and nuanced. Drink now through 2018. -JL Wine Spectator. A Chardonnay wine from California in USA. 2010 Chappellet Chardonnay 750ml

This effort is similar to Chappellets past vintages, with citrus and tropical fruit flavors, tastefully accented by oak and brightened with a squeeze of lemony acidity. - S.H. Wine Enthusiast. A Chardonnay wine from California in USA. 2010 Chappellet Chardonnay 750ml

The nose is brimming with floral and tropical notes including ripe pineapple, guava and lemon zest. Hints of brown sugar and nutmeg spice from the barrel aging add complexity to the fruit. On the palate, this wine is toned and vibrant, with flavors of tropical fruit, alongside layers of quince and nectarine. French oak and creaminess from the malolactic fermentation contribute nuances of vanilla bean and crème brulée, with crisp acidity adding structure and length throughout. - WineryWine StatisticsHarvested- September 27-October 8, 2010Brix at Harvest- 24-24.6° Alcohol- 14.9% TA- 0.61 g/100 mlpH- 3.59 ** SOLD OUT **

A fancy, rich Chardonnay, made in the California style. Chappellet has a good track record of producing 90-plus Chardonnays, and this andrsquo;09 continues that tradition. Itandrsquo;s rich in pineapple jam, Asian pear and sweet, oaky vanilla flavors, balanced with good acidity and a hint of minerality.

A delicious young Chardonnay that features layers of ripe, spicy pear, fig and honeydew melon, hints of hazelnut, nutmeg and citrus rind, and a long, persistent finish. Drink now through 2008.
