Chapoutier Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc "La Bernadine" 2010
Chateauneuf-du-Pape is best known for it's big and exciting red wines, however Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a beautiful wine with bright acidity and candied citrus flavors. From M.Chapoutier comes the 2012 'La Bernardine' Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc. 100% Grenache Blanc this wine shows notes of blossom and lily with bright citrus.
The name CHAPOUTIER is present in the Rhône Valley since 1808. In 1879, the distant ancestor Polydor CHAPOUTIER was the first to begin to buy vines, thus moving from the status of wine-grower of an estate to that of a viticulturist, a wine producer and a businessman. The pioneering spirit was already present in the family.
