Chapoutier Banyuls 2010
The dessert wines of M. Chapoutier are naturally sweet and show full fruit and wonderful character. They are universally perfect with fruit and/or chocolate desserts and are a pleasurable finale to any dinner occasion. Deep garnet. A touch of dry fruit, crystallised orange and pepper. Powerful, tender, chocolate and dried prune. Can be stored for a long time.
The name CHAPOUTIER is present in the Rhône Valley since 1808. In 1879, the distant ancestor Polydor CHAPOUTIER was the first to begin to buy vines, thus moving from the status of wine-grower of an estate to that of a viticulturist, a wine producer and a businessman. The pioneering spirit was already present in the family.
