Chapelle Chambertin Louis Jadot(2005)

Chapelle-Chambertin is the lightest and most feminine of Gevrey's grands crus, characterized by exceptional delicacy rather than by velvety full body. Domaine Louis Jadot is proprietor of .99 acres in this great climat, acquired in 1985 through the purchase of Domaine Clair Daü. It produces a ethereal wine with a fragrant, alluring bouquet, lacy structure and silken texture, finishing in refined, complex notes of fruit, earth and oak.

"Wonderfully complex, vibrant aromas of red fruits, game and minerals. Offers great energy and sap in the mid-palate, with powerful minerality giving precision to the flavors. Wonderfully classy, soil-driven wine with the depth and structure to evolve in bottle for decades. Extremely long and tactile on the aftertaste...95." IWC 3/08
