Food Pairings for Chanticleer Cabernet Sauvignon Yountville
I was excited to open this bottle and did so the first night I received it. On the first taste it was a bit tannic, but as it opened up after about a half hour, I could taste the big notes of cherry, and dark berry with a touch of earthiness to it. This is a fairly big Cabernet and would definitely pair it with a good steak and some nice big open Bordeaux style wine glasses. First impressions were fair but it got better with opening up, and went down smooth. I recommend opening to breath for an hour or decantaur it. I would buy this again.
