Medium ruby red at its core with light plum red rim. Some nice chalky aromas abound with black cherry, boysenberry preserve, and red currant. Nicely integrated wood frames the wine nicely. Dark ruby with purple tinges. Intense aromas of red berries (raspberries/cherries) and liquorice mixed with vanilla. The wine is appealing and full of elegance with an outstanding presence on the palate. Concentrated, and complex, it is very expressive with a beautiful tannic structure and a long aftertaste. This wine has a great potential.
