Very interesting taste, certainly carries Long Island Fruit. I opened and tasted and thought it was a bit light, especially given all of the effort for this wine. I closed the bottle and tasted again the next night, much much more interesting. Truly like nothing I have ever tasted before, good fruit flavors, medium body and light tannins. The finish is pretty long, especially for a LI wine but is soft.

Winemaker's Notes:

Over & Over is the result of both a Ripasso project and a Solera system. It all began with four barriques of 2004 Merlot that was taken out of the barrel and re-passed over the fresh 2006 Merlot and Dornfelder Fruit. The wine underwent another primary fermentation and was racked to barriques, hogsheads and puncheons where it underwent another malo-lactic fermentation. Half of the wine was then taken and bottled after ten months in oak. The other half will be re-passed again over fresh fruit next harvest, half will be bottled again and this will go on over & over
