Classic Veuve on the palate, a touch sweet, soft, caressing and easy with plenty of yellow fruit in a somewhat simple package. 88pts

Rather nutty and slighty yeasty nose. I'm not a real Champagne fan, but this is one of my favorites - not too much yeast and not too acidic. I like it.
Very nice brioche toast nose. Bright and lively dry fruits on the mouth, and green apple notes on the medium finish.
This is a great Aperitif Champagne - not too rich and yeasty, but elegant, crisp and citrusy, wonderful with fried foods!

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV Champagne 3 Liter. Clicquot's signature non-vintage Brut is loved all over the world for its crisp, full flavors, consistent quality and celebratory yellow label. This classical dry Champagne is a blend of two-thirds black grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) for body, balanced with one-third Chardonnay for elegance. It has a fine persistent sparkle and golden Champagne color.
Veuve Clicquot Demi Sec is creamy, with a touch of sweetness. Veuve Clicquot's Demi-Sec (the classic accompaniment to dessert) is equally pleasing as an apTritif. This stylish blend is evocative of the wine Madame Clicquot herself produced in
Cliquot’s signature Brut non-vintage is loved the world over for its crisp full flavors consistent quality and celebratory yellow label. Complex and intense nose of apple citrus and caramel balance elegantly with a spicy lingering aftertaste and a fine persistent sparkle. This classically styled dry champagne is excellent with food and also as an apèritif.
Bright yellow-gold. Poached pear and candied citrus fruits on the nose which shows notes of spun sugar and toffee. Sweet orchard and pit fruit flavors are slightly cloying and loose-knit with slow-mounting spiciness. Finishes on a warm note with decent length and a suggestion of candied orange.
The NV Brut offers up attractive notes of smoke tar rich ripe pears and flowers in a medium to full-bodied style. There is a good measure of persistence although the wine could use a little more polish on the finish. This is Lot 14009913 disgorged between December 2007 and January 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2008–2010.
