A good quality Champagne... but don't get caught in the marketing hype. Sometimes it can be extremely yeasty on the nose and palate. I prefer the French-market version, which you can find in magnums here in the US.

Rather nutty and slighty yeasty nose. I'm not a real Champagne fan, but this is one of my favorites - not too much yeast and not too acidic. I like it.
Very nice brioche toast nose. Bright and lively dry fruits on the mouth, and green apple notes on the medium finish.

Ripe, mature, easy Champagne, maintaining the Clicquot style of bottle maturity, with toast, sweet pastry and a rich, full-in-the-mouth character of white fruits. The finish is relatively soft.
The quality of this non-vintage blend is impressive, from it integrated Champagne scent to its creamy texture that carries aromas and flavors of green apples, white flowers, and fine minerality. It all comes together in the finish, where the opulent, pillowy texture meets the crispness of the mousse and light acidity.
Well-balanced and pleasantly fresh to taste, with a remarkable fruity structure. Yellow Label is the epitome of the Veuve Clicquot style. Brut Yellow Label is the perfect apertif, and a welcome accompaniment for meal of seafood or fish.
The NV Brut offers up attractive notes of smoke, tar, rich ripe pears and flowers in a medium to full-bodied style. There is a good measure of persistence, although the wine could use a little more polish on the finish. This is Lot 14009913, disgorged between December, 2007 and January, 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2008–2010.
