Champagne Tarlant Brut Oeuilly Rosé NV
Eye: Yellow gilt robe, amber reflections, fine and crystal bubbles. Nose: Generous and powerful bouquet, wooded and gourmand notes (dried fruits, vanilla, toasted). Mouth: Superb mouth: unctuousness, complexity and fullness, soft honey notes in the palate; full, mature and vinous wine: a great ageing Champagne. Harvest: 1997-1996 Grapes: 50% Chardonnay 50% Pinot Noir Terroirs: Vineyard "Les Crayons" (chalk) Vinification: Vinification in 4-wines oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation. First fermentation by stirring of the lees. Stays in barrels until May. Bottling: May 1998 Disgorging: See date on rear label. Done by hand Dosage: 5,7 g/L
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
Earthy, mushroom, citrus and apple on the nose to start. Hazelnuts and marzipan showed lightly on palate with more light citrus. Very well balanced and in the end fun to drink. [NR]
Very pretty rosé champagne. Really enjoyable.
Beautiful character, fresh start with floral aroma. Smooth and complex: a great Champagne.
