Food Pairings for Champagne Duval-Leroy Brut "Cuvee Paris"
Wonderful, light lemon-lime color with good effervescence; numerous streams of bubbles continue from the stem for up to 15 minutes after pouring (forgive me; this is part of my experience of Champagne). The scent is of soft white fruit such as pear sliced onto a piece of toasted white lightly buttered sour dough bread. Spritz is soft textured - not coarse at all (or pop-like) with a more nutty (hazelnut) flavor added to the toasted bread. A little less austere than some NV Champagne with just a touch of sweetness. Highly recommended - if obtainable.
