Champagne Agrapart les 7 Crus Blanc de Blancs 2007
Agrapart champagne is the archetype of the blanc de blancs producer (100% Chardonnay). In selecting the best grapes of all seven villages, they have succeeded in demonstrating the fundamental character of Cótes des Blancs in one cuvée. 100% of the fruit comes from estate-owned parcels located in each of the seven villages in the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Oger, Oiry, Cramant, Avenay Val d'Or, Bergères les Vertus and Mardeuil.
Very nice grower champagne. It has an open, almost lacy texture with lots of froth and bead. Aromas of warm brioche, lemon and apple become more focused on the palate, showing more green apple and a nutty edge. Definitely has some complexity, and is far less assertive than most of the house style champagnes at this price point.

The 2007 Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Experience is one of the most singular, unique Champagnes I have tasted in a very long time. Here the prise de mousse (the bubbles) is generated with the blending of the following year's unfermented juice, in this c... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. The 2004 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru L'Avizoise is another explosive, full-bodied wine bursting at the seams with fruit. Agrapart s NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru 7 Crus is quite powerful and intense in this release. The addition of 10% Pinot Noir now gives the 7 Crus a baritone depth this wine has previously not had in a sense moving it away slightly from the trademark Agrapart style. This release is equal parts 2010 and 2009 from Avize Oger Oiry Cramant Avenay Val d
Today, brothers Fabrice and Pascal Agrapart continue to run their family winery that has exisited in the town of Avize for over a 100 years. Most of their Chardonnay vines are over 40 years old. This Champagne is dry and mineral driven with fruit of apples, ripe lemons and white tea on the palate. Drinks very well today and always a partner for seafood cuisine.
Spiced with licorice snap pickled ginger and clove this is firm and focused with flavors of green apple white peach and lemon peel. The mineral undercurrent pushes through on the finish. Drink now through 2018. -AN Wine Spectator.
The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs 7 Crus shows lively freshness and in its lemon, spices and flowers. This mid-weight, focused Champagne is all elegance and class. I especially like the cut and pure vibrancy of the finish. The 7 Crus is a fabulous introduc... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Champagne Blend wine from Champagne in France. N.V.
