Chalone Vineyard Chardonnay Chalone Estate Grown 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Bright and crisp with medium body, it offers a nose of baked pear, Braeburn apple and sweet tangerine accented by floral notes and nutmeg. The palate adds juicy stone fruit and guava, developing creaminess through the middle. The wine is well balanced, complemented by just enough oak to lend structure and complexity.

Graff made his first vintage under the Chalone Vineyard label in 1966, producing what became a benchmark for California Chardonnay. Read less
