Cesca Vicent Priorat Tinto 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

The estate sits on a slope with terraces with a gradient of over 10% (even 48% in some cultivated areas) except in the lower portion near the Montsant river. In the area of Mas d'en Corral, plantations are arranged in spacious terraces on a mountainside. Most terraces are oriented south- east, with good light exposure, except the ravine part surrounded by forest. The estate is rich in licorella in the subsoil, and a mixture of slate and quartz. These soils combined with the geological characteristics of the estate and a low rainfall, produces crops of the highest quality. TastingNotesPracticing organic since 1999, and certified since 2011. This is a beautiful and lush blend of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. While being a big wine, it has nice chalky notes with prevalent acid. FoodPairingThe wines fruit is slightly raisinaited, allowing you to enjoy with you an excellent heavy meat dish.
