Cesari Amarone della Valpolicella Classico(2003)

Cesari Amarone is made from Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grapes from the communes of Negrar, Marano, Sant'Ambrogio and San Pietro in Cariano within the best zone for Amarone. These grapes are dried on racks and trellises until January, at which time the shriveled, raisin-like grapes begin the slow, long fermentation and aging process. After 4 years of careful and patient aging, the resulting wine combines sheer power with ripe softness and an ethereal bouquet. The taste is uniquely opulent and deep.
