A few things about this wine. First, the bottle is very handsome. All black with raised bumps spelling out Monsordo. Bring this to a dinner party and everyone will be fascinated by it. Second, it's a blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, and Nebbiolo. I've had this wine a few times and it pairs really well with a wide array of foods. Decent acidity, black cherry and fruit flavors, and a body that isn't too heavy. I really like the nose as you get a mixture of anise and menthol, as well as ripe cherry. This is a versatile wine.
