Very rose petal-scented with hints of black cherry and juniper adding complexity. Almost silky in the mouth with very floral and herbal inner mouth perfumes. This is elegant and refined with great length to the fresh black cherry fruit that is supported by a bed of fine tannins. 91pts

I am not a generally a red wine drinker...maybe an occasional Merlot. I had it a Wine Bar and found it to be simply wonderful. Like a Merlot but a little more fruity and flavorful.

Winemaker's Notes:

This biodynamic Frappato, a variety native to Sicily, is absolute dynamite with deep brandied cherry aromas on the nose and a juicy, herbaceous rush of crushed red cherry fruit, rhubarb compote, and fennel seed in the mouth. Light bodied, but packed with flavor, this wine maintains amazing freshness from being fermented in amphorae and aged in stainless steel tanks instead of oak barrels.
