Winemaker's Notes:

The 2011 Cep Pinot noir delivers the balance, elegance and complexity you would expect from de-classified barrels of Peay Vineyards Pinot Noirs. A larger than normal portion of the little fruit picked in the 2011 vintage went into Cep, resulting in a pretty, bright and feminine expression of Pinot Noir. The high-toned, feminine nose is captivating with light raspberry and strawberry notes mingled with deeper spice and tea notes. The charming fruit and floral notes dance on the palate making the 2011 Cep Pinot delicious to enjoy young or with a few years in bottle. 350 cases. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 90 points by International Wine Cellar.
