Celler de Capcanes Montsant Peraj Petita 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

"Medium ruby with flicks of violet; fresh, seductive aromas of red berries and cherry; loads of red fruits in taste; crispy and ripe, concentrated and well-balanced but not over-powered; very Garnacha in character and mineral in taste; fruit + minerality plus some elegant Glycerin-sweetness; medium finish with crispy but soft tannins." -Winery notes

Capcanes is a great wine co-op and this wine is a good example of their work...I did not have this wine in the USA, actually in spain...I found it with a lot of fruit, good balance with the wood, maybe it could have used a bit more acid, but I was happy!!! Keep it up

Exceptional medium-full bodied wine. I found it needs to aerate at least 30 minutes to mellow out.

Exhibits lively fruit.

A unique blend of Garnacha, Cariñena and Tempranillo. This full bodied wine has chewy tannins and a strong, leathery, gamey spine. Although modern in style, the earthy scents and creamy finish are typical of Spanish wine. Kosher.
