Food Pairings for Celler de Capcanes Montsant Peraj Ha'Abib Kosher
Opened with overwhelming shoe leather. Chalky texture. Later developed barnyard on the nose, leather, burnt fruit, tobacco. Pairly paired (mexican). If tasted blindly would have guess it was French. Interesting qualities, but not my style, would not buy again
The 2001 Peraj Ha'abib Flor de Primavera is a blend of 33% Garnacha del Pais, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 33% Carinena. This flavorful full-bodied wine is bursting with layers of berry, plum, cassis, sweet cedar, herbs, anise and tobacco. With its lingering finish of spice, herbs, fruits, chocolate, tobacco, and sweet cedar, this wine is sure to please. Mature. Daniel Rogov, 92.
