I am beginning to trust Eric Solomon, who imported this to the USA. Only 15% shiraz, but its strong smoky flavor comes through clearly. I'm not a shiraz fan, but this is a nice blend, with black cherry notes, a pleasant sour tingle, and oak.

Excellent, full bodied flavor. Some tannins on the finish but no real bitterness - just lovely!

Dunkles Kirschrot.
