Cellar No. 8 Zinfandel California 2004

Member Review by joss:

one of the better economic zinfandels i've tried; balanced, unified flavor, no astringency. but i'm just not a fan of zin's: too light, no complexity, no length on the tongue. would rather drink many other things...

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
