Cellar No. 8 North Coast 2005
This blend is a unique combination of varieties which produce a wine of extreme complexity. The aromatics include black cherry, plum and cassis fruit with spices of black pepper, cedar and clove. All these carry over to the flavor. The oak adds a brown spice and smoky toast character which adds to a long, pleasant finish.
Today, Cellar No. 8 wines honor this tradition of winemaking in a series of rich, complex wines from carefully chosen vineyard sites throughout California.
