Cellar No. 8 Eight Vns
The 2009 “Eight” comes from selected vineyard sites in California, predominantly from the Lodi AVA, where a Mediterranean climate with warm days and cool nights yields wines with soft, round tannins and ripe berry fruit characteristics. Petite Sirah and Zinfandel lend bright, ripe flavors of triple berry pie, which are enhanced by lovely spice notes from the Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot lend depth to the blend and dark, juicy fruit characters, which are lifted by the smooth, supple texture of the Sangiovese.
Today, Cellar No. 8 wines honor this tradition of winemaking in a series of rich, complex wines from carefully chosen vineyard sites throughout California.
