Celebration Gamay Noir 2009
Celebration is made from a scant three acres of Gamay noir planted in Seven Springs Vineyard in 1984. Celebration joins the Gamay noir of Brick House Vineyards in the Ribbon Ridge appellation of Oregon's Willamette Valley as an outstanding example of the varietal from Oregon. Evening Lands Vineyards wines are made by winemaker Isabelle Meunier and consulting winemaker Dominique Lafon. Owner and winemaker Dominique LaFon's Domaine des Comtes-Lafon is world renowned for producing some of the greatest white Burgundies ever made. As Neal Martin (Robert Parker's Wine Advocate) states: "A great wine from Dominique Lafon is something that will be etched upon your vinous memory for many years".
Once a year our winemaker collaborates with America's best sommeliers to blend the exclusive wines that will be served in their luxury restaurant destinations. Drawing on our premium Napa Valley vineyards, ONCE produces these wines to be served exclusively in the ining rooms of Restaurant Daniel, Gotham Bar & Grill, Jean Georges, Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, Eleven Madison Park, Veritas, Michael Mina, and the Modern, among others.
