Caymus Spec Sel 750m 2009
Not yet reviewed; 2008 vintage rated 98 points by James Suckling: This is mind-blowing on the nose with sweet tobacco, chocolate, cedar, cigar box, and licorice. Full-bodied and round with a bright and velvety tannin structure. Starts off slow, but then flies away. This is fabulous. Intense finish. Delicious today, but will be even better after 2013.
Dry and airy with medium body, fruity with a soft palate. Good nose
One of my favorite wines. Smooth, deep, with a lasting and rolling finish on the tongue. Deep berries and a subtle smokiness are lasting on the palette. You can never go wrong with this wine!
Smooth and full bodied that finished dry at the end.

Smooth, rich and polished, with a tasty array of currant, anise, plum and blackberry fruit that's sharply focused, with pretty, toasty oak nuances adding depth and dimenison on the finish. Drink now through 2010.
Packs in lots of ripe, rich, complex Cabernet flavors, gushing with ripe currant, plum and wild berry, turning spicy and revealing pretty oak and herb shadings as well. Long, smooth aftertaste. Drink now through 2010.
Smooth and velvety, a medium-weight wine, with complex, subtle tobacco- and chocolate-tinged plum and currant aromas and flavors. Graceful, harmonious and elegant, with plenty of flavor to develop. Best after 1995. Better than bottle tasted earlier.
A stylish wine with layers of rich, polished Cabernet fruit, a chorus of currant, herb and black cherry accompanied by pretty smoke and toasty oak. The long, soothing, complex aftertaste keeps pumping out the flavors. Drink now through 2011.
Napa Valley standard, this cabernet hits the mark with a deep color and subdued scents of cassis. Its round, ripe black cherry flavor completely fills out the smooth, chocolate-textured tannin. Oak enriches the finish, making this ready to enjoy at a steakhouse at the close of a long-negotiated deal.
Smooth, rich and seductive, with impeccable balance, great depth and lots of finesse and flavor. The layers of plum, black cherry, mocha, spice and wild berry flavors unfold gracefully, giving it a long, supple aftertaste. Drink now through 2012.
Manages to feel both soft and tannic at the same time, which means it's fine now but should age for a few years. The black currant and smoky oak flavors are harmonious, with sweet fruit lasting through the long finish.
