I first tried and liked this wine in 2003 when a friend recommended a white that would go with Thanksgiving turkey. Many years later I tried it again and really was not impressed with it.

Great wine for those special dinners. The vintages can be quite different due to the blends changing every year, but I'm never disappointed. Have the '05 on the rack waiting to be opened.

Made by Caymus' Chuck Wagner, this is a stunning white. 2006 is our favorite vintage of Conundrum to date, with a gentle price. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Chardonnay, Semillon and Viognier. Intense, lush aromas of apricot, white peach and honeysuckle, a creamy, mouth-filling texture; and a crisp, refreshing citrus finish.

medium bodied, has a semi-sweet/off-dry taste with lemon and lime zest that goes well with salmon, other fish, light pasts, oysters, and calamari. a little oak but not cloying
