Wine Tasting NotesDelicate and alluring aromas of black cherry. Silky smooth with well defined fruit redolent of red berries with cherry notes on the palate. Medium-bodied with soft tannins, concluding in a pleasing finish.
Intense ruby color with delicate fruit taste with hints of cherry and berries. Medium bodied with a dry taste and a pleasant, warm aftertaste.
We've always been inclined to recommend this terrific red when people want an inexpensive crowd pleaser. It appeals to almost every kind of palate which is especially impressive considering the difficulty that this temperamental little grape can offer producers. It's also the kind of red you can conceive of drinking in the hot summer months (try it with a slight chill).
Pretty light ruby red wine, offering up fresh strawberry and cherry flavors with just a hint of anise and earthy minerality. A perennial store favorite.
You probably know of the rave reviews for the Pinot Grigio, but the Pinot Noir, quietly, could just be the best value of all the Cavit wines. For the price, you get a soft, round medium-bodied red with dark plum and red berry flavors that actually taste like a Pinot Noir. Well-made, true to the grape... also available in the 1.5 L. size for those spontaneous grilled salmon and Pinot Noir parties.
