Food Pairings for Caves des Grands Crus Blancs Macon-Vinzelles
Crisp clean nose like that of a flinty Chablis. Lemon oil and flowers, beeswax and marshmallow foam. On the palate, it's crisp, fresh and tart with strong lemon flavors and other citrus like grapefruit and some guava notes. It has a nice creamy feel to the texture but isn't fat or too buttery in flavor save for a nice creme fraiche note. Finishes clean, but the citrus lingers. Finishes a touch tart. This wine was built for food. 89 pts.
