Mild lemon scent. Salty and spritzy, mild lemon and mild mineral flavors. Clean finish.
Three and a half glasses
Lightly frizzante. Unripe pear. Honeydew. Lemon.
Crisp, refreshing and acidic. The bubbles are plentiful for a vinho verde, but less than a traditional sparkling wine. My favorite summer drink. Better than lemonade.
I loved this! Opened with bubbles! Pale green-gold in color. Had aromas of pear and citrus. All these notes found in the palate, along with a doughy/yeasty note. Tastes fresh, clean, and at 9% alc. it's a nice appetizer wine. Would go great with peel and eat shrimp, clams, fish and chips. Yum.
healthy doses of lemon and apricot. Ample lemon acidity on the finish combined with the characteristic frizzante makes this a fantastic pair with seafood.
I love this wine - 1) it's 6.99 (10.99 in SF), 2) it's extremely inexpensive, yet REALLY good. 3) Finding a good white wine, in my opinion, that's not too oaky or too fruity is ridiculously hard to find, but to find that beautiful balance in this price range... get me a case!
