Caves Aliança Dão Reserva 2010
Immediately juicy with lots of polished aromatics, over the underlying savoury and herbal character with silky, supple black fruit. Soft tannins with hints of pine and vanilla on the elegant finish.Add winemaker's notes
This is a cracker of a wine for the price vs quality ratio. Really ripe, fruity nose with a hint of cedar. Platae is equally ripe, fruity (in an old world way), medium to medium full bodied, very good finish. Balanced. Worthy of case purchase - house wine.

Great alternative to a Rhône or Chianti. Medium-bodied and vibrant, with bright red fruit and lots of pepper and oak. Drink this with lasagna or pork chops. Food pairing: red meats, poultry Flavor type: traditional Body type: medium-full Finish: elegant
A supple red, with boysenberry and macerated plum flavors that feature notes of ginger and allspice. The ripe finish offers hints of hickory smoke. Drink now.
This is a typical mineral-driven Dão wine, with structure and complex, dry and firm fruits. Licorice and wood notes also add to the mix. This needs at least three years of aging.
